Matt and Julia got to go to their first ice fishing contest. Only in Minnesota do you drive your car onto the ice to park by hundred of others, crowd into a mass with holes everywhere, not catch a fish, and still enjoy yourself. We didn't catch a fish but still had fun. They were also giving free plane rides to kids 8-17 so Matt couldn't go but we were right near where they were landing and taking off so he enjoyed watching them come and go all day. Thanks to Lynn's friend from work, who helped Daddy out with the drinks.
