Julia's birthday present

Since it was her golden birthday,wWe decided to get her ears pierced with her birthstone. There were tears, but they didn't last long. She got to ride on a toy before we left the mall and play at the McDonald's playland for dinner, but I'm not sure that totally made up for it.

Instead of backpacks, each kid uses a pail to carry their homework/projects in. You get to decorate it however you want. Matt chose Spiderman paper and super hero stickers.

We're so glad Elle got to stop by on Labor Day weekend. Based on Sarah's expression, I think she was happy to see her too.

He is even willing to feed Sarah her bottles. We still haven't convinced him to help with the diapers!
