Visits with Santa

Matt got to see Santa at daycare and at Stacy Tree Farm this weekend. He walked up to Santa and gave him a big hug, then told him he wanted presents for Christmas! He wasn't too sure about Comet, one of Santa's reindeer, but he enjoyed feeding the baby bison named Chief.

Having Fun in December

December has started out pretty busy. We celebrated Daddy and Tom's birthdays, have had a couple of visits with santa, set the tree up. I'm also getting pretty good at my roller skates.

Weekend Away

We were able to get away for a weekend for my birthday up at Grandview Lodge in Nisswa near the Brainerd area. Boy did we need it. We even drove over to Mille Lacs to see the big walley. We saw a show by Marcoux Corner (an a cappella group) that was a lot of fun and otherwise just sat around and enjoyed the fireplace in our cabin and relaxed.

Thanksgiving

Matt enjoyed thanksgiving with one of his cousins and found out he really, really, really loves pumpkin pie!

Getting Ready For Christmas

Lilly wanted to help get the wreath out and Matt was ready to give mommy ideas for Black Friday.

Last day of Swimming and Spider Man

Matt can now swim all by himself (or at least it's "no daddy I do myself") with a lifevest. He also likes to dress up as spider man. Clearance halloween makes great dressup.

Halloween

Halloween sure was fun. I got to be a scary tiger. Mommy and I made toothbrush spiders for my friends. Thank you to the dentist for donating the toothbrushes. Daddy worked really hard on carving a Thomas the Train pumpkin. I had lots of fun trick or treating and said thank you after getting each treat!

Halloween Costumes

Matt didn't want to be a bug so Mommy made him a Tiger Costume (one that he would wear). Since Matt didn't want to be the bug Lilly gave it a shot and Riley is the security while Matt is trick or Treating. We can't wait for Halloween when Daddy gets to paint whiskers on Matt.
