Picking pumpkins

Although it was cold, we decided to go pick our pumpkins last weekend. Matt wanted to make sure we went into the field to pick big pumpkins and get little baby pumpkins too. Just in case the new baby arrives before Halloween, we had to make sure we got pumpkins for "peapod" too.

It has already snowed in MN!

We decided to pick pumpkins last weekend. We knew it had been cold on Friday night, but look at all of the ice that was on the flowers. It seems like we skippped the fall and jumped right into winter.

Raking leaves

It is kind of hard to rake leaves when you have a 3 year old helping you. Matt spent most of the time jumping in the pile and pushing the leaves all over the yard vs. keeping them in a nice pile. I forgot how many leaves there are in our yard. I think we'll be spending quite a few more hours doing this.

Face Painting

When we picked pumpkins, Matt wanted to get his face painted. He didn't pick one of the scarier options, but the owl turned out to be pretty cool.

Matt's artistic ability

Matt surprised us the other day when he said he could draw the 3 little pigs. They are a little scary looking, but they actually look a little bit like pigs.

Vikings Fan!

Thank you grandma and Tom for Matt's cool new football jersey. He loves it and was showing it off during the Vikings game. He was a little crabby this morning because he stayed up late to watch the Vikings beat the Packers, but it was worth it. He is a little confused about the Vikings vs. the Twins because the Twins won tonight and he still wanted to wear his Vikings jersey.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Happy 29th Birthday grandma! Tom bought dinner and a yummy cake for grandma. Matt wanted to help put the candles on it and of course, he had to help blow out the candles. Hope grandma's wish comes true!

Matt's first visit to the Dentist

Matt had his first visit to the dentist today and mom and dad could not have been more proud. He was such a good boy and didn't fight it at all. From the x-rays, flouride, cleaning with the tools, brushing and the suction and squirter we could not have asked for better behavior. Can we just stay in this moment for a while please... Any way as you can see he did a great job.
