Matt's first hunt

Matt has been interested in learning how to hunt. Hope Lilly doesn't mind his first catch was her squirrel.

Turkeys

I think the turkeys were hanging out in our driveway while we were at work. Check out the size of their prints (that is Jeff's hand print next to the turkey print).

Julia likes to take care of her babies

Dylan's B-day party

Dylan had a fun party at Pump it Up in Oakdale. They have these huge blow up bouncers that the kids wear themselves out in. Julia was too little to hang out with the big kids and it was mostly a boy party, but she didn't mind playing in the Cozy Coupe. Actually, Matt is getting to be a big boy because he told me that I could leave while he played with his friends =-( I've forgotten how much easier it is to get a few errands done with just one kid.

Libby's B-day Part

January has been popular for birthday parties. Matt had to go from Blaine to Oakdale and have cake & pizza at two parties in one day. Bit of a sugar high, but it was worth it. Libby is his "girlfriend" at school so we couldn't miss her party. I forgot how much fun Chuck E Cheese can be and at 9:30am, it is not very crowded! Julia was pretty curious about Chuck E Cheese, but she didn't get too close.

Pumpkin Dumroese

This is the latest photo we have of Dumroese # 3. Matt still wants a baby brother and Julia is speechless.

Matt found a big stocking

when we were putting Christmas decorations away. He can definitely be a show off in any costume.

A last minute picture

turned out pretty good, except Riley was hiding in the background.

The perfect chair for a little nap in the afternoon

Bowling with Grandma and Grandpa

With these scores, I don't think we'll make it as professionals. Although, Matt got his first strike and Julia enjoyed being our cheerleader.

Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa

While daddy is at work...

on the weekend, mommy made the mistake of letting the kids have breakfast in bed. The sheets needed to be washed anyway.

New Year's Eve at the Zoo

A trip to the zoo always turns out to be a fun day. New Year's Eve was freezing outside so we did all of the indoor exhibits. Matt found all of the animal stamps along the MN trail and then got to touch real animal fur. I think the kids found every tunnel there is. After the first couple of tunnels, mommy decided it was just easier to run to the other side and wait for them to come out instead of following them through it.

Baking can be pretty messy around this house...

but lots of fun too.

No wonder why kids love Christmas.

Matt is now my little Rock Star.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with grandma and Tom. Matt loves his Iron Man hand...it shoots darts and makes a cool noise. Julia has her own little puppy to take for walks. We tried to get a picture of Julia with the infamous Slushy, but she was a little hesitant.

Trying to get a pic with Santa

Good thing we didn't have to pay for this one.

Christmas with Auntie Biz, Uncle Jeff and cousins William and Jillian

Matt loves to play FBI...although, all he really does is shine people in the eyes with his flashlight.
